About

Calm, organised homes that work before they look good.

Space Refine is an independent publication about home organisation, small-space living and deliberate interior refreshes. We write for renters, first-home owners and busy households that have a real room, a real schedule and limited storage.

Every guide is built the same way: measure the space, install the system, live with it for at least four weeks, then publish what survived, including the parts that failed. Dimensions, layouts, tool lists and shopping lists appear in the guide itself, so you buy once and fit it the first time.

What you will find

  • Storage systems: wardrobes, kitchens, entryways and under-stair spaces that stop wasting centimetres.
  • Small spaces: studio layouts, rental-safe changes and furniture that earns its footprint.
  • Room-by-room guides: a plan for each room, from hallway to home office.
  • Cleaning routines: short cycles that keep an organised home organised.
  • Budget makeovers: what to change first for the biggest visual difference per euro.
  • Home office: desks, cables, acoustics and light for real work days.

How we handle money

Some links are affiliate links and some campaigns are sponsored; both are labelled in the article. Commissions pay for the testing, they do not buy a verdict. Products we keep, borrow and buy are all tested to the same standard, and we update a guide when a product is discontinued or a method stops working.

Who reads it

Readers in Europe and North America, most arriving with a specific problem: a hallway that collects coats, a kitchen with no pantries, a bedroom that never feels finished. If a guide answers that problem, that is the whole job.
